Ingredients
Bowl & Basket frozen cavatelli
2 tbs Bowl & Basket olive oil
1 lb broccoli florets
1 tbs minced garlic
1 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup Bowl & Basket specialty grated parmesan cheese
Directions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add cavatelli and cook according to package directions.
  2. While waiting for water to boil/pasta to cook, heat a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat and add in the olive oil.
  3. Once hot, add in the broccoli and sauté for 4-5 minutes, then add the garlic and sauté an additional minute or until garlic is golden and fragrant.
  4. Add in chicken stock and let whole mixture simmer while the pasta cooks. If the broccoli appears to be getting too soft, remove from heat.
  5. Once cavatelli is cooked, drain (reserve ½ cup pasta water when you do) and add to the skillet with the broccoli.
  6. Add in the parmesan cheese and toss gently to coat, using some of the reserved pasta water if needed to make a sauce.
  7. Serve with additional parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, if desired.
