Ingredients
1 package (2 sheets) Bowl & Basket Frozen Puff Pastry, thawed in the refrigerator
4 tbsp Bowl & Basket unsalted butter, melted and divided
1 tbsp Bowl & Basket granulated sugar
2 tsp Bowl & Basket ground cinnamon
½ cup whipped topping, whipped cream or prepared vanilla frosting, for decorating
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Unfold the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Brush both with 3 tbsp melted butter. Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon evenly over one of the pastry sheets, leaving a ½ inch clean border around the edges.
  2. Place the other puff pastry sheet, butter side down, on top of the cinnamon sugar one and crimp the edges to seal.
  3. Use either a long knife or a pizza cutter to cut the puff pastry into 16 strips. Take one strip and twist it twice, leaving an open loop at the bottom. Place on the prepared baking sheets, leaving one inch of room between each and repeat with remaining strips until all the bunnies are made.
  4. Brush the bunnies with the remaining melted butter, then bake at 425 for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  5. When cool, dollop whipped cream, whipped topping or vanilla frosting in the center of the circles for the “bunny tails” of each pastry. Serve.
