Preparation & Usage

General recommendations: After cooking, do not leave the product on the heat with no food in it. Properly align the heat or flame to the base of the product. Do not overheat and do not set the flame so high that it reaches the sidewalls. Natural-finish metal products may react to abrupt temperature changes; avoid thermal shock. Do not store food in uncoated cookware. Not suitable for contact with very acidic or very salty foods. Not suitable for food storage. In the kitchen: Natural-finish metal products should not be used in a microwave oven. Avoid sliding the cookware on cooking surfaces to minimize scratches or other aesthetic damage. Use medium or low heat; high heat is rarely necessary and may cause discoloration. Avoid utensils with sharp edges to prevent scratching the surface. These products may be used on electric and gas stoves. Products with plastic, phenolic, wooden, or wood-look accessories such as handles and knobs must not be used in ovens or exposed to flames or direct heat. Cleaning: Do not pour cold water into this product while it is hot. Avoid cleaning liquids that contain caustic soda. Wash with warm soapy water, rinse well, and dry thoroughly before storing to avoid stains or oxidation.
