Paleo Buffalo Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup hot sauce
Lettuce or collards, for wrapping the burger
1 tomato, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 celery stalk, chopped
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Directions
  • Season turkey with salt and pepper. Separate meat into four equal sections and make a patty out of each one with your hands.
  • In a medium to large pan, over medium heat, add the oil and burger patties.
  • Cook about 4-6 minutes on each side, until the turkey begins to brown. Flip the burgers and brush some hot sauce on top. Repeat several times (over the course of another five or six minutes).
  • Wrap the patties with lettuce and top with tomatoonioncelery, a dollop of mayonnaise, and a dash of celery seed.
