Ingredients
Vegetable oil, for grilling
16 ounces ground turkey
1/2 red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 jalapenos, seeded
Kosher salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
8 slices Finlandia® Cheddar-Gruyere Cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 chipotle chilies in adobo sauce
1 tablespoon lime juice
4 hamburger buns, split and lightly toasted
8 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked
1/2 head loose leaf lettuce, leaves separated
Directions

1. Preheat grill to 400°F and coat grates with oil. Combine turkey, red onion, cilantro, garlic, and 1 jalapeno (minced) in large bowl until just combined. Form into 4 equal patties, and season both sides with salt and pepper. Grill for 6 minutes, flip and cook additional 4 to 6 minutes, until fully cooked to internal temperature of 165°F. With about 1 minute remaining on cook time, add 2 slices of Finlandia® Cheddar-Gruyere cheese to each patty.

 

2. Meanwhile, combine ½ cup of mayonnaise, 2 chipotle chilies in adobo sauce, 1 tablespoon lime juice for chipotle mayonnaise in small food processor and process for 1 minute, until smooth.

 

3. Spread chipotle mayonnaise on both sides of buns. Top each bottom bun with layer of lettuce and burger patty. Top with 2 jalapenos (sliced into rounds) and bacon and serve.
